I am very excited to be starting my second year of teaching at Mill Pond School! With such a crazy year ahead of us, I am sure there are some nerves, but also much excitement in starting a new school year. I am right there with you, but we will get to go through 5th grade together as a team!
I recently earned my Bachelor’s degree from Framingham State University (May 2019). I graduated with a double major in elementary education and mathematics, along with a minor in statistics. Before beginning at Mill Pond, I completed student teaching in a 5th grade class in Wayland, and soon following student teaching, I became a long-term substitute for the rest of the school year in a 5th grade class in Framingham. Through both experiences, I have taught a wide range of students and am looking forward to meeting another group of 5th graders. I have since started my masters, also at Framingham State, in the Literacy and Language program and look forward to implement my learning in the classroom!
A little bit about me! I live in Framingham with my mom, dad, brother, and two cats! I played basketball growing up and in college. I now coach basketball in Framingham, which is something I love doing all winter. My favorite place in the entire world is Disney World, and my family goes every summer together (we’re the ones in the matching shirts). Lastly, when I am not in Disney, you will find me on the beach in South Yarmouth!
Fourth grade was so last year, welcome to 5th grade! We have a fun filled year ahead of us!
